It's a harsh winter in North Carolina. I say that because my kids have been out of school more than they have been in school so far in January. We're not used to that in the South. When we get an inch, it cripples us. Our first big snow hit us this week, and it was gorgeous. I'm smitten because it was our first big snow in our house. In Raleigh, we've not had a snow like this one for several years.
The winter scene is stunning and it is one that we do not see too often in Raleigh.
As much as I love these winter scenes, the extreme cold takes a toll on my skin. I'm still working on my skincare, but I have found the perfect solution for my chapped lips. I use Beautycounter's lip balm in Peppermint. It comes in two varieties: Peppermint and Calendula. The calendula balm is more healing and is a best seller for the company, but I just love the tingle of the peppermint one so it is my absolute favorite.
These lip conditioner repairs dry, chapped lips and keeps them moist and supple. Many lip formulas on the market contain petrolatum, which may be contaminated with toxic chemicals like polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), or parabens that can disrupt hormone function. Beautycounter's Lip Conditioners do not have any of these potentially harmful ingredients.
But bottom line, I think they work. It's the one product I've used consistently now for several years and everything else I try does not compare to it.
Each lip conditioner is priced at $20. Some of you think that may be a splurge. It could be, but it's worth it. A jar can last anywhere from 3 to 6 months, depending on how often you apply. I consistently apply it twice a day.
Let's do the beauty math. The product retails for $20.00.
At three months, it averages out to be $6.00 a month. If it lasts six months, it cost $3.00 month. Regardless, it's one of the best products out there. And I'm giving you the opportunity to try it for yourself.
Enter my giveaway and you can have your choice of peppermint or calendula. Shop Beautycounter and get more entries.
Good luck and once you try it, you will not want to use anything else. That's how I feel anyway.

I used to work in the natural beauty industry and am now super conscious of ingredients - BeautyCounter is an awesome brand! Love their stuff! Thanks for hosting this giveaway! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Traci. I love this company, too.
DeleteIf a product works to save lips or skin against chapping in cold weather then that's a win in my book and it's worth the cost! I'd probably try the calendula :)
ReplyDeleteIt's a great product.
