I will be surprised if I don't get a phone call from my mom once she sees this post.
"Get off that computer, and get that turkey in the oven! We used to cook the turkey the night before when we hosted Thanksgiving. Your turkey won't be done," my mom will say with nervousness in her voice.
Somehow though, all the catalogs, and other junk, will be removed from the dining room table, and the table will be set for seven by 5 p.m. tonight.
It will get done.
There is no doubt in my mind that the kids will cry at some point, and my house will seem like chaos before we all sit down, and eat a very done turkey.
Our family has so much to be thankful for this year. We are very blessed.
I could not begin my Thanksgiving preps today without taking the time to wish all of you a very Happy Thanksgiving! Thank you for the time you give me each week. In the past year, I have loved getting to know so many wonderful and talented people.
Enjoy your time with your family, and I'll see you back here next week.
Oh, and I hope you remembered to thaw your turkey. I had some friends one year who forgot. If you didn't remember, I know some great luxury hotels that are serving Thanksgiving dinner today.
