BINGO and ADVICE for You-Know-Who's Wedding!

Surprisingly, I actually enjoyed getting my mail today.    One of my favorite catalogues arrived.



But today was extra special!  The London based clothing company, Boden, has done it again with a witty and fun catalogue named "The Wedding Issue".   The cover is hysterical.  It reads,  "I, Johnnie Boden Give You this Catalogue to Have and to Hold Till Recycling Do Us Part. With my bingo I thee Worship. With my scarf I thee Endow."

Just in time for the big day in their city, Boden has cleverly come up with a game called "Boden Broadcast Bingo".   In a special section on the company's website, customers can download "Johnnie's Conjugal Compendium" which includes this clever bingo game you can print for your royal wedding watching on April 29.  Boden says it is a game of "buttock-clenching concentration and endurance to test the listening skills of the entire family."   There are four bingo playing cards with different words that you need to hear a broadcaster say during the live commentary of the wedding.  The cards are printed with words, phrases,  or names that will most likely pop up on air by TV anchors and reporters.

 Can't you hear Meredith and Matt use some of the words now?

Boden  says, "It's Bingo, but not as you know it. Your task is to tick off the stock phrases, platitudes and cliches as they are reeled off during the television commentary.  Remember, every second counts.  So think twice before you disappear to replenish your glass or take a comfort break (particularly if you can't bear to be beaten by your children).  Now fluff up the cushions, prick up your ears and spot the soundbite."

Boden also has some games and activities for your Mini Boden, and best of all, if you like Boden and plan to have a royal wedding party to celebrate as they put it "you know who's wedding" then you should enter their wedding photo contest for a chance to win $1,000 Boden account credit.

And the catalogue even gets better.  Boden asked its customers to volunteer their marriage advice for newlyweds.  As you "Ooh and Ahhhh" over your favorite shirt or dress, these are just some examples of the amusing advice you will find sneaking into the catalogue.
